Trapster - better than a detector?

I wonder if that has to do with the number of people using it. The more users, the more effective it would be surely! I like detectors but if the police are using their units right, its often not much help to me.
But this looks very interesting, kiwis still flash there lights a bit, I wonder why this has been slow to pick up!

Looks good as long as you have a passenger to send in the Text to the app.
Also you are relying on other people to report the traps.

Wondering why they didn't use Google Maps.

Anyone with an hour spare could build one for NZ and probably make a couple of bucks.

This isn't really a new idea though. Been around for a while.

More and more Im hearing from people who use it and like it, its almost enough to have me upgrade my gps or get a smartphone
