did anyone else cringe when they read don's post
please do NOT spray petrol anywhere near a running engine, that is just asking for a fireball, there are other products far better to use that will not ignite as easily

don - you should have at least added cautions re hot engine cold engine, specific areas to avoid like plugs and electrical connectors etc
actually the whole advice is bad and cannot be made to be safe

yea boss dne that with a big Moari guys car and set it on fire while the guy was there not gud use an unlit gas torch in a well ventalited area

Just reviving this to let you know .finally (haha).there was a mirade of problems, cost $500.from what I heard.fuel line, hoses, air thingy and probably much more, cant remember the list.they basically said.the engine is old and kind of knackered.
I want to thank everyone for their input though, nice to know so many are ready and willing to help.cheers
