Hi deniseTry a local mechanic who has capricorn.-thats a way to search for parts online. You might have to pay them for the service --but then if you need someone to fit the box for you then its in their best interest. As others have perhaps unsutly advised though I would look into what the job will cost in total because it may be more economical to buy another car.

I can't speak for othres only for myself but I meant nothing mean or rude when I agreed that you should set it on fire. Ofcoures I don't mean it literaly. I mean call a scrap dealer and get a few hundred dollars for it, combine that money with what you intended to spend on the gear box and buy another more reliable car. Unfortanutaly your car is a pile of rubbish as you have discovered for yourself. They just are not good cars and if you spend the money on it you will regret it when another problem occours. This is the best genuine advice I can give you. Cut your loses and move on to something else, you will only be spending money on something that is almost worthless. The best advice is not always the advice you want to hear.

Second this, all cars reach that point eventually when its cheaper to cut your losses get another car to fix a broken one that likely will break again or fail wofs after been fixed.

Heard all the rumours, seen all the similatities, couldn't believe anyone would choose to return in the same style.
