Toilet so long as it runs to a civil treatment plant. Don't use drains in house or street. Failing that find a store or mechanic that will dispose of it for you.

agree. rak1!we only have one planet. so many people just throwany old crap down the drain or on the ground. I aint a greenie. yet/.but it is just gettingso so worse.about time weall tried a little bit harder . and thinkbit more about what each of our single consequences do to the enviroment. end of the day its OUR KIDS and GRANDCHILDRENthat will suffer.not us.

Yeah.whatever.nuclear powered submarines, ships, air craft carriers, and polluted rivers that go into seas and oceans have no effect on its eco system.

toilet, as above as long is it goes to a treatment plant, which most cities does.

understand. where you are coming from. but 1 man can make a small .difference surely!.it has to start some where! if we all have the opinion that "some one else will fix it".orif " everyone else does it.". then no one will ever actually fix the problem.end of the day. its up to each and every one of us to do the best we can. no more. no less.

True. I was just pointing out an unfortunate fact of what most people do. We have to collect all our old coolant at a garage where I work. Although, I would've thought that dumping it in the toilet would be a safe option if you are doing a job from home.

not to mention british cars leaking oil onto to the road which get washed to the sea

If you have lots of yapping dogs keeping you awake day in day out give them all a we drink of it. Two problems solved. But if your unsure as said above take it to a radiator shop or your garage they will /should have correct disposal methods in place.

With the exception of stormwater from the roof and driveway, all the drains in the house go to the same place. This includes all the sinks and the bath.

So in the 'real world' do you think your 'local mechanic' has the facility and/or the ability to responsibly dispose of dangerous chemicals in a way some might like & do you think he wouldbe doing so at a cost to himself. Do you think it fair that he should dispose of some random strangers chemicals too! (for free no less). DOH yourself!
