Years ago I had a coolant leak coming from the back of the cylinder head on my Isuzu truck 10 tonne size luckily all the compressions were still right up to scratchbeen tested tomake sure, no loss of power either just the leak which amounted to about a litre of coolant every 200km or less!
Had no oil to coolant mixing or vice versa either luckily.
Put 2 bottles of Wynn's Radiator Stop Leak in the system to try my luck and presto it did seal it up tight as a drum and truck did another 200,000km of sterling work right upto when it was traded for a new bigger Nissan.
Depending on how bad the head gasket leak is and the nature of the head gasket fault, try your luck and put some in, it worked for me and there's NO guarantees it will in your case but worth a try none the less.
Good Luck .I think you're going to need it.

Best to drain it anyway. Get back to clean coolant.
