Be helpful maybe if we knew what make model etc car this is.Why did OP take a car for a WOF to somewhere that don't do WOF!

jussa, May 31, 8:38pm
toyota estima.
saw a sign on my local tyre place front space.warrants $39. shot i thought. went in and said. is this your sign!.yup they said. i said ok cool. when can i book in. receptionist said hold on ill find out. comes back. at @am.Ok ill come back then. So i went there because that's where i get my tyres from. I thought well if my warrant fails its tyres, then i can just get them done then and there. wasnt until i went back at scheduled time. that receptionist tells me. ok wont be long. huh where r u going! oh we dont do them here we do them next door (next door is like 100 metres away).hmm ok. so thats how that all came to be.i asked if i could drive it there. but she said no. she had to.

jussa, that garage is along greenwood st, right! i asked them to check why my indoor lights are not working despite the new bulbs and I was charged half an hour rate and they just checked and they are sparky. they were able to find $600 worth of faults from the wof! (charged 6 hours of labour altho to be strict, just 5, they said two ppl were working on it)

dmlpcarillo, Jun 1, 3:42am
ps: my indoor lights, not working still. they are not auto sparky

Hi Jussa.- What the guys above are trying to tell you in a pretty undiplomatic way is that just because the vehicle hasn't stopped dead that the yellow light isn't something important.
Put simply --IT IS
Now clearly you aren't a person with mechanical knowledgeThats fineBUT the "mechanic" you refer to isn't doing you any favours. You asked them to diagnose the issue with the light. "I don't know" is NOT an acceptable answer. A yellow light on the dash of an estima isn't rocket science for a real mechanic to diagnose. They have the tools and equipment to do so,

Best to go and have it put on a scanner to ell you what it is.
