What can you buy that's going to be better! This is a four door saloon that will do a sub 15 second quarter mile while towing a boat with a boot full of eskies and a back seat full of passengers. 80 grand doesn't buy a lot of every day, flexible car that can take on an m3.

Yep it is the 5.0 s/c came out end of 2010in 335 and 315 kw count. highly under rated, guys in Aussie are getting 260-280rwkw on a stock 315kw GS and with minor bolt on mods from a few tuners will take the figure to around 450 rwkw (600hp) from 8-10 grand in Aussie, hard to argue with that bang for buck.

Agreed that you do seem to see more HSV product around the place (or 'look alikes') than you do Ford.I don't think it's anything to do with performance or handling.I suspect as said above it comes down to marketing. Also history perhaps e.g. Brock / HDT were around from VC(!) Commodore onwards, then HSV - most people are aware of Brock.Ford have what since the XA GT Phase 4 Falcons (drool !) until the recent FPV options!I guess the ESP (which not many people are probably aware of) and maybe the Hercules or whatever for the EL(!) all I remember of them is the funny looking limpet thing on the bonnet ! Not knocking the Fords (I have had the same number of Ford and Holden V8's), but I think it's down to history (recent) and merchandise / marketing.
