Sitting test! crikey it aint like back in the day now.a lot more detailed and precise with less room for errors.
For sure gooddealz2 nothing better than saddling a piece of machinery that takes a bit more effort than twisting a throttle and lets you know if you aint riding her right. ;)

Each LAM compliant bike's rego label will have aLAM compliance notation on it.So the police can just look at that.It will of course then also be in the database against the plate number so they can do a reg check.

Yep, and from what ive read over the years it is easy as to unrestrict them as well. That may be a bit hard to detect on th road side, unless said GSXR600 was clocked at 250kph. That should get the Officer thinking.

smac, Jun 14, 6:20pm
Nope. Won't happen.

fordcrzy, Jun 14, 6:25pm
riding a dr400 on a learners on the road would be.interesting

richynuts, Jun 14, 6:34pm
If I was sitting my learners my pick on the list would be the Yamaha SZR 660

You can't stop people gaming the system.

There are 250cc bikes out there today that are full size frames that could easily have a 650cc engine bolted in them if somebody was so inclined.

Great news, makes sense to use power to weight. Now they need to restrict a few cars.

klrider, Jun 15, 5:51am
Bang on, watch the price of 250's drop to realistic.

smac, Jun 15, 6:16am
Pretty sure that is out of date.

berg, Jun 15, 6:22am
Being looked at currently as part of the rego/WOF review. Looks like what they originally planned with learner capable on the rego will go through

smac, Jun 15, 9:34am
Nope. Bet ya' a fiver.

berg, Jun 15, 12:00pm
Hell no lol. Mrs Berg got my last fiver.
