Have purchased a new battery for the remote on my M60B alarm, should setting it up be as easy as just changing the battery or do i need to resync the remote to the system! First time I've had to do this and am a bit confused.

You won't need to sync the remote, do you have a spare remote !

just repalce the battery. will be fine
