3.5 is a bit low for your sit jase- personaly i'd look more to a 6.5 power valve.-if it cures the lean stutter all good-however if it hesitates slightly when hot and is okies cold then as i posted 6.5-K [AND ANYONE WHO HASN'T MADE A MISTAKE-HASN'T LEARNT JACK. Jack LIVES here.LOL]

True about the mistake though, and the bonus is at least it is a cheap one to fix!

Cheers snoop. I just did what Holley website said. I had a vacuum reading of 7.5 and I halved it closest was 3.5 but will see how I go

Haha. Cheers guys. Glad I persevered and got the. Carbs are very simple! As in not much to them. Now to get my air fuel mixture right do I use my vacuum gauge on the manifold! It has writing on the gauge to say if its lean etc.

She is back together and Idling! Hooked vacuum gauge up and followed a holley instructions to getting air/fuel mixture right.Damn its running nice now! No stumble any more. I upped the primary nozzle at top from 29 to 31 and added a power valve. Dont know what has got rid of the stumble but its gone. Foot down and she just goes. Will save up and run her on the dyno in a few months to get her perfect.

well done. The old Holleys are pretty simple once you know what you're doing. Great satisfaction from doing it yourself.

Spot on the SNOOPY I did the Vacuum wrong! Was suppose to be a 7.5 power valve. Carby guy readjusted my idle mixtures etc. I thought I had it sussed but the more I drove it the shittier it ran where it was worse than before! This carby guy sussed it in 30 minutes and she has 0 stutter now. Spin both wheels no worries.

There's always a reason for everything. Hence, always a solution.
