Just a question for the OP, what rate of flashing happens when running the hazzards, IE all 4 corners! That said if someone else has been tinkering already it may pay to bite the bullet and go to a GOOD autosparky, Human induced faults can be a mongrel to locate.

lol I'm not a auto electrician or a mechanic. We spent money on switches and other bits and pieces but nothing work. Partner had the idea of cleaning it so he took the steering wheel cover off and did it this morning, it magically worked perfectly straight away. He said contacts were very sticking and covered in grease, now the are clean.
Maybe it was luck, maybe it was pure common sense either way i'm happy cause we don't have to walk in rain and cold any more! YEAHAAAA

Good to see your observation but you have failed to read my post properly; the bulbs are not in series with each other they are in series with the flasher unit. If however the bulbs were in series with each other and presuming they were all the same wattage they would all glow with the same "brightness". We??

See 4th post . there was merit in it, aye! Lol! Jokes aside . I've never heard of bulbs sorting themselves out by fiddling around with indicator levers.

This method is brutally effective also. but you end up using more insulation tape.
