Not all toyotas are boring :( I have a 5spd GTT caldina, 212,000kms and the engine runs like a swiss watch, no manifold leakage or bits falling off etc. Good luck, I hope you get the car you are after :)

Cheers all, drove a MK5 Golf TDi 4motion 6 speed in the UK - awesome car, only too pricey and rare in NZ otherwise I'd have one!
Sorry mantagsi, I know there are some fast Toyotas about. If the newer Caldina GT Fours were in manual I'd look at one too.
Anyone know how the 2.3 Atenza wagons go in 6 speed - think I may consider one of those also. Pity there is no MPS version!
