Yeah the only reason Nissan have joined is because they are launching the Altima next year and having their car on track is great advertising. I was expecting to see Toyota bring the Camry but since they already sell a lot of cars in Australia there isn't really any need to invest in racing.
To be honest I really don't care what Manufacturers enter, and it doesn't matter. These cars are built by the race teams not by Nissan, Ford or Holden. The badge on the front of the car is just that, nothing more.
Back in the old days it did matter, but these are real racing cars built from the ground up and then dressed up to look like their road going counterparts.
