Was only repeating what was on the auction. I admit to knowing nothing about the motec thingy. And I also agree, 100k is a crazy sum to spend on a car. I also wonder how true his figure of $100k is. And yes for100k I personally would want something a hell of a lot better than and old falcon.
Re' Grant Brennan I do know though that Grant used to build and race race cars. See link below. Obviously in those cars he would have had to use the best of the best parts available. He built them from scratch.Amazing looking machines. Unfortunately that appeard to roll over on to the street cars he built, often using very expensive high performance parts if allowed to. How much of that or what parts have been used in the old Falcon above I wouldnt have a clue.But I wouldnt be surprised if there had been some very expensive coin spent on that car if Grant had anything to do with it. Yes, I do agree, 300kw doesnt seem much for the money he claims was spent though. Who knows he could be just making it all up.
Just reading his catalouge. 7k alone just for one of his own manufactured 9" diffs.

guy down the road from us has spent $70000 on a XYGT replica< I know which one I would have parked up my driveway and im sure it wouldnt have been built in 1995

Pretty sure he's not asking for his money back - only a price he thinks it worth to him to let go. It's a lot of car for 25g.

If he's only done 2000kms which is likely running the engine in so not thrashing it and granted he gets his 25k it would have cost him about $40 per K in depreciation alone. He must own a money tree.
