It has got an "upgraded breaking system" Does that mean it breaks down less or more frequently!

All that money and you still have a cheap-ass plastic steering wheel. No taste NM matches the handbrake lever

It's a good example, it's someones baby, and someone will appreciate it. Not me though it doesn't excite me much

not so sure about that. Got some work done by him in the past. He loves the really good gear. Was going to get an engine built for my car.Worked out to 40k just for the engine alone. Never did build that engine / car lol

He helped with my first chev v8 many years ago when I was just learning about those things. Did some stuff for free and also showed me how to do a few things for free so I could do them myself in the future.
But I guess if you have heaps of money he will help you spend it.lol

All that and only 300kw! That's not a hell of a lot of bang for buck.
morrisman1,
Jul 25, 4:18pm
to be fair that is like a 500% increase over standard

Grant is an extremely talented man. They even build and supply / sell their own superchargers. Some of the race andkit cars he has built are just stunning.

Whoa! $100k on a 1995 Ford.
Oh well, it's his money (well, it *was* his money) to spend.

Could get every EF in NZ for $100k now. But would you want to!

I'm going to go slightly out on a limb here and say that I think that shape Fairlane is one of the best looking of all Falcodores, full stop. There's something about the general smoothness, and all that glass around the back.
I can remember when I was pimply in short trousers, all the corporate cabs were the model after that (same body shape but with a little mirror-finish chrome grille) and thinking those are pretty sweet looking taxis.
So I can understand having one, and having a bit of pride of ownership, and I can even understand an owner wanting to spend a little bit on making it go faster.
I think I would cap my "making it go faster" budget SLIGHTLY lower than $100,000 though. SURELY that number is a tall story! Not even the maddest young boys with dohc vtec integras and heaps of instant credit are silly enough to spend that much money on modding a normal low-value nothing car.

$100k probably includes petrol costs.
kingfisher21,
Jul 25, 5:59pm
To what! It wouldn't be a drastic increase above 300kw, my mildly modded LS1 puts out more than that and cost a HELL of a lot less.

I was wondering if he's included a price for his labour to do everything he's done.
Wouldn't be the first person to do that.
