The crimping tool is a joggler.
Any body thinking of doing a resto look at this.

It's getting a lot more convenient to source repro panels, I was looking at an F body Camaro shell yesterday which is going to be a Muscle Car class circuit car. There's a full range of new panels available ex USA including rear quarters.

I have filled a number of sunroofs including XY, XA and XB Falcon. Best way is to wheel up a panel to the correct profile or find a panel off any car that is the same profile. Cut to fit hole perfectly. Do a nice butt weld using Gas or Tig without filler rod ( Not Mig). Only welding 1/2 to 1 inch at a time then hammering up weld as you go (hammer welding). When finished will need very little filler if any. Will need to remove windscreen to make access easier. Most of the time it takes about a day to do the job properly.
