Bit Ot but I've got a set of Gedore spanners which are also 30 odd years old.They feel aweful to use then I had a better look (made in India).had a dig about in the toolbox of bsf stuff and lo and behold some gedore feel much different.Ah made in Germany.My everyday socket set is a Koken and to me it just feels right like an extension of my hand.My 3/4 is a "no name" and whilst it works it feel like an impediment.
I got a 1/2 drive King Dick set.I'd say the sockets are twice the weight of a Kinchrome.
