you can drive it anywhere till it stops lol gilltrap probably even got a towing service that you can use and a free car .thats how they do it in europe and gilltrap seemed as professional as any main german vwagent in germany when i went to get parts there.

you should also service the transmission like i told you it will die with water in the transmission sooner or later. let us know what they told you quote wise etc.

But why aren't you taking it back to the stealer that sold you the car. NOT ONE of these issues you should be involved in paying for. Its the dealers responsibility.

i got them down to 195 + gst.chancers! that includes doing thr manivold gasket so not bad.

Why are they off the hook! thats 6 months. Thats not a fair and reasonable time for a transmission fault.at the very least they should be picking up your bit of the repair tab. ESPECIALLY as they are responsible for the faulty repair

Its so common for coil packs to fail, its only a 15min job to change them

turns out it was just the sparks.i was having a prem panick attack. :)i bought a policy which kicks in a month after purchase.at the time i could have asked for repair, replace or refund but didn't know that :(
