you have to write in and explain why you dont pay, just not to pay means you agree they are correct in charging you this fine. and you have to be carfull as to how you write its a joke that we even have to do sutch things in the first place.
Yet another money grab that does absolutely nothing to improve safety and in this case nothing to penalise the person who actually committed the offense.
If it is actually a problem why is it not rectified with a call to the WOF issuing agent by the person issuing the infringement!
Remember its YOUR council, YOU elect them, YOU pay them and they work for YOU.
I would be booking a spot at the next council meeting (usually anyone can speak if they book prior) and bring this nonsense to a stop.
Remember, if people start making a stand we can stop any nonsense we want from both local and National Governments, but nothing happens why good people stand idly by.

Today out of curiousity, I asked all my customers where they preferred the WOF label, 8 out of 9 preferred rh top corner, 1 other preferred about 100mm from the top. I'll keep sticking the labels at the top rh corner unless it's an SUV or light truck, just to keep the peace.

Damn right! We have this problem in Tauranga too. Including OPs prob of faded wof sticker. What the hell do parking wardens know about WOF requirements. Stick to parking tickets! the rules for where to put the sticker are fair enough tho- I always put mine at the bottom corner as its usually out of the way for most people.
