I've had one go then it set the car on fire cause the grease blewout onto the exhaust. I'd fix it unless it's just a really light hairline kinda thing.

just jacked the car up, cv boot is brand new. had grease around the area where the old 1 split. fixed all the other problems, found some other issues which they didnt pick up on.

must agree, i had a couple of classic cars, they were only driven 4 kms to get a WOF, when due, then driven 4 kms back, into the shed , till due again in 6 months, i was often amazed at the differences, it seems i had worn out brakes, exhaust systems, wheel bearings, ball joints, and even tie rod ends, in just 8km.

thats vtnz for you greg murthy is the role model for them or is he just a looser who gets paid to talk crap.

All the above good reasons to kick WOF's into touch.

haha.what a muppet,

it made me wonder how many other people they have done this to, for example my "split cv boot" and the owner of the car took it in to a mechanic, and machanic has said what are you here for!

oh and went to get tyres replaced, tyre guy asked why are we replacing them! he said they were fine, but they were going to need to be replaced at some point in the near future (true story)

I use VTNZ at least 80 times a yearhere in Welly, (depending on what fleet movements I have), never had problems such as being mentioned, always find them good to deal with,
