I still think that the fine should be linked to the vehicle that it was incurred in.There should be no time payment for traffic fines.If the fines not paid at end of 28days vehicle impounded and sold - no exceptions.Courts could simply list the vehicles on trade me at $1 reserve.

then the lil snot will just screwdriver and hotwire someone else's car and take it for joyride, they got nothing to loose, it'd be the poor owner of that car that suffers. the lil snot will go through the usual justice system he is ever so familiar with. still doesn't solve the problem.

Eventually the rich are rich cause they don't pay! I've repossessed stuff in the past from rich morons who don't pay.
