Yeh saw that lol.I actually noticed it on the first auction in the picture showing the km for the cambelt change.

nightboss, Nov 13, 8:22pm
Just sold for $1150.00

cowlover, Nov 13, 9:05pm
How do we know i was a mistake. If it was a $1 reserve then the seller actually was prepared to accept $1.As it sold for the buy now which was more than the reserve I think you could win if you pushed the point.Depends how much of an ahole you want to be I guess.

all is fair in love and war - it's a done deal, fair and square IMHO

mokaubach, Nov 13, 11:32pm
That's a fault with Trademe, reprisal feedback, EBay doesn't allow it, Trademe shouldn't either.

ambo11, Nov 14, 5:53am
Its a Subaru.I'd say at $2.20 you got ripped.lol

arejaytee1, Nov 15, 1:02pm
get bhold of tm as i am sure that wen auction finished that is a legal and binding agreement. this happened to a car sales in sthisland and they had to go thru with sale at there loss

countrypete, Nov 15, 3:16pm
You are wrong on both counts.Firstly there is a legal remedy for genuine mistakes - as this one was, as the "buy now" price was clearly an error.Secondly, the car dealership you refer to set up the "genuine mistake" as a promotional gimmick - and look how it went for them - money well spent on brilliant publicity!

both times the reserve was $1 so legally you can take the seller to small claims court. they broke a contract. i would ask trademe for there name and address and send them a warning to release car or go to small claims.

where you would not win.

plasticboys, Nov 16, 5:10am
but it was a Subaru

countrypete, Nov 16, 5:56am
The reserve was correct. The buy now was an error.Get with the programme!
