Yes it is, and I know a bit about both as I sold Mazdas new. The NZ factory in Sth Auckland assembled the Telstar/626 and Laser/323 untill it closed in 1997. The Radisich Telstar was definately a Ford NZ inititive. They did a deal with Paul to put his name on the car. However many others had his signiture copied by a signwritter or purchased from Ford parts dept which I suggest is what happened with carmads (if in fact they ever had one).

That makes sense, I have no idea why carmad would think that Ford would be branding their JDM telstars with Paul Radisich insignia, I doubt they even know who he is!
