You can get a whole after market body kit for less than 1500.

Most car insurance has no claim bonus protection (if you've had your licence for a few years and had no cliams).Bumpers cost a bit to repair, I did similar to mine and it was $2500 to repair, def worth claiming.

Made of brittle fibreglass or similar :/

Heres hoping the insured owner has their full licence & is over 25
Learners or restricted AND or under 25 is $1200 excess

gemini_gurl, Jan 7, 1:45pm
Excess is $600, I can get one made for $650ish but unpainted. Another couple hundred to get painted is less than the $1200ish it would cost taking the ncb into account.

Originally I was quoted $350 for the skin before they realised (truly!) it's super rare and worth lots.

Those Blitzen bumpers are a different plastic to normal - hard & brittle, which is obvious. If that's fixed it will easily crack again with the slightest nudge. Just keep that in mind.
Best option would be to claim insurance and get it replaced. They are gold plated.

What about one of them fiberglass resin and matting kits from super sheep, could do abit of a patch-up and put some primer on it, be enough for a WOF

You'd have to use an epoxy resin if trying a glass repair. Polyester will stick for a short time, then start peeling off.

Yes - I would repair it with epoxy if it was mine. For a customer or Insurance claim! No way!
