Yes well, as I was driving home I didn't notice any noise. Thought good, fixed. However I pick up wife and said to her how quite it is. She said can still hear, a little bit. So with windows up, turned off air con and yes, she was right. Might have to go for hearing check! So I email the repair place and told them of this. Guess I'll have to wait and see.

yes if the harmonic balancer had come off or got looser it would damage your crank have seen it a few time some easy to repair others thrown into rubbish to few mechanics actually get out with a torque wrench and check that everything is tightened to correct settings my old boss was like that with the she'll be right attitude and it bit him in the ass in the end no one wanted him working on there cars and fair enough
