Got me thinking now. And yea some of the older bikes are quite appealing again.

Mcintosh made a mono-shock BR2 that would have ended up using the R 1100 engine
as it was, his pig GSX engine bike weighed 185 wet. . . . . . . . & that engine was 20heavier than the R. . . . . . . .
when i got to speak to him, he didnt want to know tho. only interested in his norton money makers

Been there when the Tarkaka factory had its BBQ in '05. I harbour no desire to return . So if you have been the you will realise there is know straight roads .ya bike could'nt handle the[ takaka ] hill.Probably wouldn't want ya . Why should I care! . think about it .its not Canterbury.the roads not straight . Yeah, two separate groups of fuddy-duddies. Am I supposed to be impressed by people on mobile armchairs! . At least not a wanter a be and just sunday riders . I wish I was born sooner. LOL . pleased you weren't . Yeah on long straight concrete roads with the throttle pinned and lying on the tank, like my mate with his "Night-little-engine-that- - -just-can't". . My old girl will do 220k ok but is worked . You sure do harp on for someone who claims not to care. Anyway, I'll probably be keeping my distance anyway, upwind, on account of the smell. . Pot calling the kettle.keep your nose out of your bum . That's why I have the fast reliable japper - to get me to where I want to go effortlessly - to scratching territory. No worries about broken rubber bands with those chain drives.
Boy, those Pig wrestlers sure do bite well! . Good as for the cafe crowd.100,000 on the same belt .not biting to bad youself.

You are sure going to some effort to demonstrate how little you care!

You mean an OW01! No, that's getting on. I used to have an FZ750N though - heaps of fun. I don't like VTRs. V-twin is pretty much the only engine configuration 4-cyl or below I've never owned in a bike. ridden them, just never liked them enough to buy one, although I did consider a TL-R once. Before I rode it.

Look, I've told you before I'm sorry but his heart just wasn't yours. If you love something set it free.
You can just go get yourself a loud, overweight, farting American that dribbles from every orifice. That seems more your style.
splinter67,

Why would I want a meathead timaru might not be american but it sounds just like you

I can relate to that, twins and V4s just don't do it for me ethier. Apparently those TLRs can be quite a weapon once there sorted suspension wise. Or perhaps you just have to be nuts to ride them hard LOL.

No numpty it didnt go over my head but it sure went over yours you still dont do comprehension do ya
meathead_timaru,

That's it. Try and bluff your way out of the embarrassment of your lack of comprehension. Keep us all laughing at you!

Had a couple of V4s over the years. I like them, especially the whine from the gear driven cams.

I'm not wrong, you just don't get tongue-in-cheek posts - that's what the emoticons are for - to help distinguish from deadly serious posts. I note you never use any - trouble finding them, Einstein!
