Well that person was asking about advice for his trailer not about his house!

steptoe72, Feb 19, 11:17am
flow sets the limit . it might be 50Kph , but if the average is 58k . then people driving over 63ish get tickets. is this not the case now!. was the road busy! and all doing the same speed as you were just going with the flow.!or has that stuff all changed!

Edit to say. .WOW dont pay it untill you get a reminder notice. Then the $30 you pay will not even cover time or cost to send out the ticket or reminder.what a joke.

pauldw, Feb 19, 11:36am
Hasn't been like that for some time now. Normally for car without a trailer 10km/h over limit will do it unless special circs, school zone or holiday period mean lower allowance.

therafter1, Feb 19, 11:53am
Is that the person that never presented his trailer for a WOf that you advised to embark on an official complaint process!

Would you like me to trawl back thru your posts and point out where you have deviated from the subject matter in the thread, oh, hold on, that??

therafter1, Feb 19, 12:01pm
That was the case at the outset, but the return wasn??

therafter1, Feb 19, 12:06pm
And it isn??

therafter1, Feb 19, 12:08pm
It is my understanding that it is 5 kph for vehicle towing trailer or a heavy vehicle.

robbief, Feb 19, 12:54pm
i got one for 7km doing 97kmh on takapau planes 16km straight road in camper van fine day no traffic its just revenue collecting cost $30. bucks

johnf_456, Feb 19, 12:57pm
Either way what you call it, it is still a law/rule/regulation that has being broken. Are you clear now!

johnf_456, Feb 19, 1:02pm
Asking question is not a rule breach, not sure what you are trying to imply. But has a FYI I don't report things, sure I mention it here. But some need to realize there is others who actually do report things, not myself.

smac, Feb 19, 1:06pm
Heh, cop with a beard!

therafter1, Feb 19, 1:13pm
I was already clear, it was you that wasn??

therafter1, Feb 19, 1:17pm
Must have been a quiet weekday without too many customers, sorry, I mean contacts.

Sometimes the poor old cop must feel embarrassed, sorry mate, I got no choice, I have to have a minimum number or my leadersaccuse me of sleeping in the shade under the trees lol

smac, Feb 19, 1:31pm
Nah this guy's not apologetic.he stalks that area of highway for his whole shift every day he's on. Straight, open roads, nice long passing lanes plus other areas for straight road with kilometers of visibility. There are fatals on that stretch, but they are due to drunk/falling asleep. Doesn't matter, road + accidents = speed enforcement.

therafter1, Feb 19, 2:23pm
It wouldn??

nightsky1, Feb 19, 4:36pm
how many tickets would you get if you didn't speed

come back when you've figured that one out.

jmma, Feb 19, 4:39pm
Must be thick if you can't work that out for yourself (o:

twink19, Feb 19, 4:48pm

darryl, Feb 20, 8:06am
Shame it hasn't stop you bleating about a ticket you got for speeding.

dajoki, Feb 20, 8:51am
There are three types of people.those that can count and those that can't

thejazzpianoma, Feb 20, 8:59am
Its always the same.
The millions of dollars spent on social conditioning has the Police apologists out in force blindly defending the technicalities.

Meanwhile the greater issue of Police wasting much of their time and over 100 Million dollars annually trying to improve on the meager 130 or so deaths per year relating to speed, goes largely ignored.
All the while serious crime, burglary's, non injury crashes, fruad, theft and kidnappings are often not even attended to at all by Police. apparently due to a "lack of resources".

If we re assigned that money I am quite sure we could save more lives than throwing endless money and resources at methods which are unlikely to be even be effective at reducing the road toll.

To give an example, almost the same amount of people die from asthma attacks in NZ as do speed related car crashes (About 130 p.a in the last recorded year).

80% of those deaths were apparently quite preventable with better management.

Where are the prime time advertisements and 100 Million+ budget for improving those figures!

After all there seems a lot more scope for improving those figures than reducing speeding related deaths IMO.

Yet apparently these deaths seem so trivial we no longer even bother to collect the statistics on them.

The whole thing is a sham. but all while the apologists keep society in line nothing can be done.

smac, Feb 20, 9:53am
Jazz, serious question for you: why do you think this imbalance exists! (I agree completely that road deaths receive a disproportionate amount of publicity and funding).
I would have thought if a dent could be put in cancer deaths (random example) during a particular party's term, that would do way more for votes than the progress being made on the road. Yet successive governments persist! Weird.
