Been here a week now working on the two Supercheap stores. Third year for me, love this job. People camping at the Mountain gates from Wednesday and campground open Friday. Early birds coming in and setting up already. Weather has been great but rain forcaste for Saturday, to be fine Sunday. Should make for great racing. Even though I work for Supercheap I am a diehard Ford supporter and want to see Frosty win.

Trucks came today with the team cars on. Horns blasting to announce their arrival as they drove up past the start finish line. It was amazing, to see all the big rigs in team livery. Bring on the racing

Fords quickest in practice so far . Have the Holdens got decent starer motors this year , had to feel sory for Gisbergen let down by crap starter motor just when it looked like it was going to be his day .

Ring them? Pretty sure with the world cup rugby on you can buy a fan pass for a week that's ALL sport channels
$14.99 for a day or $19.99 for a week. The race is on Sky Sports 4 BTW

thanks heaps jon9, I have tried that and for some daft reason I can only get so far with signing up for it and my comp keeps taking me to a page that says it won't allow me to continue and it has blocked it due to it having an out of date certificate grrrrrrrrr, I will keep trying to change the settings on my comp to get in.

I signed up for seasons pass on the v8 Supercars website for live streaming, but I needed hola running in google chrome to pretend I was outside NZ or Aus. It works and they have a Bathurst only pass for $15 Aussie. But you need good broadband which in Nelson I don't have and often lose coverage. Those in main centres might be better off. If Sky offered reasonable access I'd buy it, but I have no need of sky package at all and they won't give me just sky sport or even just Bathurst so stuff them.

Re my post above, seems I was wrong and sky now have a fan pass where you can get 1 day access for $15 NZ. It's still online so need decent broadband. Assume it's a new thing as I asked them months ago and was told no.

Was up the mountain today and the atmosphere was really full on fun. It was great to be a part of. Back at track side tomorrow and its good there but I prefer the mountain bogans
