I think going to the casino and losing several thousand dollars would be far more enjoyable than modifying a PT Cruiser.

In the morning you would still have a PT Cruiser.

ppl said things like that about my 68 FD Victor & the warmed up 186 Holden 6 + Toyota 5sp PLUS CNG
In total 1600cc factory style (paint & all)

Gave me many years of cheap motoring & modest grunt.
When I flicked that switch (2 second change) it had plenty of power to surprise a lot of ppl

"Quirky looks" might be an understatement.

When they came out, there was a crowd offering turbo conversions locally IIRC.

Mate brought one from Auck with a fully certed Toyota V8 turbo. Turned up quietly at my work with this PT sporting PTV8 plates. I initially laughed until he opened the bonnet and showed the engine. Goes really well (like they should have from the factory)

Why settle for something so small?

Sonny's 1005ci for me.

(yes that is 1005 cubic inches, from the mountain motor master)
