Will be good to see it on the road. I have Austin 8 going now. Winter project is Esprit.
Hi, must catch up soon, and yes look after that Esprit.

Once the house redecoration is done, the mini van comes back home and I can get into it. Only problem is that I may not be allowed to do messy stuff in the "new" garage.

I'm prepared to type out a set of instructions for the sake of a roof chopped valley grunt, that is if you have some pics on your computer.

Yeah I'd like to see that too.

Upload your photos as you would if you are starting an auction. Then open each photo in my photos and copy the text in the address bar and paste it into this thread. Keen to see these photos Cheers Stevo
For photos. My trademe (between sell and community at the top) View my trademe My photos (bottom under credit my account) Upload photo Browse (which will take you to your computers folders to choose which one) Pick one and click open View your photos Click on photo you uploaded Now copy the address (www.trademe. etc) by either dragging along it while holding left mouse button to highlight it, or pressing F6 button. Then press right mouse button and choose "copy" Right click on this thread as if you will type a message and choose "paste"
Easiest to do if you open a few trademe windows at the same time, one with this thread and another in my photos, so you can copy and paste a few at a time.
Would love to see a 4 -2 door valigrunt with a roof chop!

Haha, it took me so long to type that you already had it figured. Looks AWESOME! That is definitely going to be a car to see finished!
Also ordered the bits to overhaul the engine and rebuild the gearbox. Few other things including race seat, general weight reduction and splashed out on some coilovers. Someone once told me to change one thing at a time. I didn't listen.

My ongoing boat build stalls during the cold months as the epoxy resins become hard to work with so I have bought an industrial sewing machine and intend teaching myself to sew and start doing the upholstery, if I fail someone will be getting a bargain when I resell everything

Love the valiant - looks mean already. Curious on the diff - Looks like the rims are going to be mounted on the axle a long way back (very deep dish)? Doesn't that put a really big load on the axle / studs?

the centers will be just over half way in to the hoops so should be OK ,or I May have to cut all the mounts of the diff and make new ones , not to sure yet just picking up what i can at a good price things might change as i go along .

Harden up! We were still glassing with frost on the ground over the weekend. Gives you more time to stuff around.

A chopped, two-doored wagon is always cool. Look forward to later pics.

My last build was a cafe ironhead. This one is a bit different.
Yep. Been after one for a while. Beautiful ugly, called the 'prase' in the Czech republic - means Pig.

very cool. I've always wanted a retro scooter, Theres a sizable club of them here in chch, they ride out to Akaroa etc. Sound like a bunch of chainsaws coming!
