Always has been a problem and it's the motor not the diff. At the rota v V8 drags, the rotas always end with only 2 or 3 cars for the last round. Mostly blown diffs.
Purely from the snap loading on the diff, where the 8"s torque is easier on the diff.
Short answer, learn to drive. Oh I have an RX7 as a street car and two as race cars and a couple of V8's to boot.

Should have just kept the rotary and put a milder cam in it. Or maybe you measured optimistically and it isn't actually a 9 inch you were blowing ;-)

building revs & dumping the clutch will do it for any stock diff, maybe you need to spend $$ on some aftermarket goodies
