why would you say track racers are pussys? The road racers at the TT are only there coz most of them cannot not make it as a top track racers. Besides why would top gp racers that are making millions risk their life or peanuts.

Just read his autobiography. A darn good read too.

He is very much his own man and as a truck mechanic, from Lincolnshire, as down to earth as you'll ever get. Gutsy too.

The autobiography doesn't go as far as his attempt on the motorbike speed record, at Bonneville, which is an ongoing challenge.

That was his first ever TV gig.

The series on the Industrial Revolution (or similar) was fascinating, using original techniques. He is a very hands on character. Very, very fit too.

The Britten was his all time dream bike. We still have to watch what we have recorded.
