mrfixit-depends on how well documented "things' are If the dealer says-"Only saw her once" never herd anything more for example then it becomes a bit of he said/she said.

Yep theres that too, he said/ they said but nothing documented.
In that situation right now for a cash loan on repairs between a son & car yard. Dealer said yep do it via ph call & we will refund, so son got it confirmed in writing via social media chat & a screen shot to me.

thanks for the advice kazbanz i have been back in to see the dealer today and he is going to give us a loan car on monday and he is going to keep my car till they get to the bottom of it he says, i have made it quite clear to him that i am extremly frustrated by the situation however i do appreciate the fact he appears to be trying to get to the bottom of it, and i need it to be sorted or perhaps another vehicle of similar value year and milage and in good working condition may be another option to look at if it continues. I am trying to work with him to come to a outcome that works for us both hope i am doing the right sensable thing here.

Sounds fair enough from both sides, tho the dealer now needs to get moving on a quick resolution.

What the dealer is offering makes sense to me except why wait till Monday? Yea I know it likely wont be looked at till Monday but why have you make an extra trip? -For the record--the 2010 Yarris/vitz is a very reliable can normally
