Might be a relative of yours perhaps that should stick to putting holes in cheese or yodeling in the mountains. The most potentially difficult part of that repair is in undoing the rear flange bolts (not really an issue if you are careful with the right tool) and ensuring the plastic balance trimming cassettes go back where they should be. The rest of it is standard driveshaft repair practice.

You post a lot of good stuff intrade but on occassion you come accross as completely clueless and this is one of those occasions. Getting after market parts for almost any ford is easy and especially in this case, as we recently did a hanger bearing and all bushes on the subframe on a falcon. We had a quote from ford but the local garage did it way cheaper no problem.

That is the real eye opener same out fit ! I agree on some OEM stuff is sometimes cheaper than aftermarket I always do a few calls before hand then make a decision based on past experience ,OEM forToyota and Honda for example and mostly in the consumable range like ,brakes shoes/drums/rotors ,wheel cylinders, oil filters and so on, But you have to please yourself and the customer and balance out what is best v nasty and at least make some mark up on your own acc/ with out embarrassment.
