I was annoyed at how long the Northern end of the Brynderwyns took, to end up with a result that wasnt much different from what they started with.

that a while back. jacidina killed that project along with all other northern roading projects. that was the FIRST thing she did when she became PM. it looks like they have quietly restarted it. they took submissions 6 months ago.

and its only a bandaid. the southern side has had a big repair on one of the slips. all that work and they still have to make a bypass. its simply an unreliable road, known black spot and no decent 2ndary road for when its closed.

My roads getting done thanks to some of that money Shane Jones had to throw around. And they've thrown a lot at it. Bloody highway now !

March 2020 advising property owners in writing their land is scheduled for purchase. Maybe not so quietly restarting the Warkworth - Te Hana route.
