for an engine to cool down! I have a legacy twin turbo, drove it 7kms at 100kph. Been home for an hour with bonnet up in shaded carport, and the engine is still really warm to touch. Oil and water are fine. Temp gauge was just below half while traveling. Is this normal or am I paranoid!

Its Normal, some older cars ( that iv had ) took a long time to warm up and cooled faster than they took to warm, but My caldina takes ages to cool down, as per any 'modern" car these days

Esp if the summer temp was 35 deg outside!
