my accident! i was driving my car and unfortunatly i lost control and it went down a ditch and hit a tree, i was lucky not to be injured. i wasnt speeding or being silly, infact im the biggest nanna driver ever! it had rained heavily about a half an hour before i started driving so i think the road was just too slippery. im real gutted coz i miss my car and i drive that road everyday with no problems! i guess i just got some bad luck! iv never ever crashed before or had any fines/demerrits etc. ill be very upset if i get charged. what do you think!

rayzor14, Nov 22, 7:23pm
Unless you can show that there was something other than the road simply being slippery because it rained e.g. a diesel spillage then I would guess you will get stung with careless use.

mugenb20b, Nov 22, 7:25pm
What do I think! None of this makes any sense ^^^^^^

jaydeesnr, Nov 22, 7:26pm
I think you should stick to your story

henderson_guy, Nov 22, 7:28pm
Did the police attend the accident! If they did, there is a very good chance you will be fined for careless driving.

horsepower7, Nov 22, 7:29pm
well its a main road and im pretty sure other people have had crashes on it before, everyone knows you have to be super carefull when your on that certain road. hope i just get a warning or something ;-/

horsepower7, Nov 22, 7:31pm
yup had everything turn up. im just glad i wasnt hurt, an that ther were no other cars involved. grrr gutted as if im charged! ;,(

jmma, Nov 22, 7:35pm
Agreed, don't branch out at all (o:

bigjerry, Nov 22, 7:35pm
Well you don't just slip off the road with no reason. You either have crap tyres or you were speeding. When we drive with crap tyres or we speed we run the risk of being charged. Im not preaching either, its just how it is. You

horsepower7, Nov 22, 7:35pm
what do you mean!

horsepower7, Nov 22, 7:38pm
maybe but i passed a wof only 1 month before hand. does everyone that has a crash get charged no matter what!

bigjerry, Nov 22, 7:39pm
No, Only when its your fault. As you have just found out.

jmma, Nov 22, 7:41pm
I mean you can bark all you like, but it won't leave you any excuses (o:

michael.benn, Nov 22, 7:42pm
WOF means vehicle was road worthy at the time of inspection.

It's the responsibility of the vehicle owner to keep the vehicle at a good level of safety.

Again, not preaching. Just saying.

horsepower7, Nov 22, 7:44pm
ok well i just dont know what went wrong and whats going to happen to me, as i said, iv never had a fine or been in trouble etc before.

tigra, Nov 22, 7:46pm
LOL Your vehicle may have passed a WoF but you certainly didnt.

horsepower7, Nov 22, 7:49pm
well what makes it worse is that i drive for a job! i consider myself as a good driver, kind of have to be when you have to drive expensive cars everyday. ah well ill find out soon what will happen any way!

jaydeesnr, Nov 22, 7:51pm
Is horsepower 7 as a user name relevant to your predicament

horsepower7, Nov 22, 7:52pm
i own horses.

bigjerry, Nov 22, 7:54pm
Nah relax mate. Everybody gets one.

msigg, Nov 22, 7:54pm
No you may not get charged. Did the police turn up and breathalize you and take all your details. Unless there was oil on the surface of the road or mechanical malfunction then clearly you were driving too fast for the conditions, you can't have been the only car on the road to take that corner. It could be a good lesson for you. Go with it and learn from it. it could have been much worse for you or others. Hope for the best,. Good luck.

jaydeesnr, Nov 22, 7:56pm
Fair enough good luck

jmma, Nov 22, 7:57pm
Yes you were lucky, you could have broken a limb. (o:

floscey, Nov 22, 8:01pm
