Because, the "drivers" didn't adjust their speed to the conditions (lack of concentration) or they were just being idiots (lack of common sense). I wonder how many of those cars involved in fatal crashes were well maintained and were they up to the wof standard.

Why on earth your allowed to buy them is beyond me.
I like a ticket now and again, its only 80 or a 120 each time.
Cheap reminder really

#49 is rite the slow drivers are the problem, causing traffic to bank up,hes a bike rider ,so hes always scanning the road for idiots that pull out, road debries, etc.,and it is far safer to get away from the sheep ,that tailgate each other, when on a bike.

If you prang at 100k chances of survivalvirtually nil so 110 k aint gonna make any difference .

If I had something straight with more than 400 horse under the bonnet then the first thing I'd buy is a decent radar.

Speed doesn't kill. Over confident retards in Holdens or hat on backwards spastics in falling apart Subarus do.

lets not forget all the drivers out whose cars arent maintained cheap tires worn shocks and drive under the speed limit completely oblivious that they are driving a death trap on its limit.but hey its got a wof and they arent speeding so its totally safe right.Man the car i drive at work is terrible '00 RVR newer than anything i own and being a company car you would think it would be well maintained. nope i feel like im taking my life in my hands everytime i drive it, 165K's crap tyres likely the original shocks and something terribly wrong with the steering/suspensionthe thing shudders liek you wouldnt beleive as if a wheels is about to fall off or something not sure what the problem is but its dangerous and shouldnt be on the road IMO, still has a WOF though of course they take it to a mates garage who i think is dodgy as shit they think theyre onto a good thing, wont listen to me when i say its better to take it somewhere that will be thorough and fail you on something minor rather than somewhere lenient that will pass an unsafe car and get you killied because of it.

I have instructed my family to hold the company responsible if i crash and die since ive voiced my concerns to them on numerous occasions and theyve never done anything about it.

ok yeah ranting i know. point is even your within the law it doesnt make you safe and it doesnt mean you wont crash and kill someone.

My GPS tells me when I go over 105kms.

falcon-hell, Nov 28, 7:35pm
hell, thats a shocker, maybe call the cops on yourself,so you get pulled over, and they might take care of the rest!

un_known, Nov 30, 11:46am
trouble is as far as the cops are concerned its a legal vehicle, funny how a little sticker on ya windscreen suddenly makes your car safe.

falcon-hell, Nov 30, 11:53am
soup it up,soit looks like a boy racer car, apart from going to jail, they might take the car off the road.

The valentine is abit outdated now.

I think there still a good idea if you have the money.
How many times do you see them put speed cameras by the passing lanes its the safest and sometimes only place to pass a slower vehicle.

I know someone that got killed by a slow driver [ my cousin ] he was only travelling at 50 ks [ the driver that is ] .not sure what that proves but it still killed him.very sad

NotA IDIOT AT ALL.My radar is used in my car and bike NOT my truck.but as i have said for me the speed zones are where i get saved the most with the detector.[ i also do huge mile on my bike ]

AND .spead .I don't speed in my truck.you can't even if you want to as our trucks are tracked by GPS,plus we get a read out every day with a percentage how good you drive.all Takaka drivers average 96%
