How do i tell if my clutch is about to go! Ive been told that put car in 4th or 5th gear and try to speed up and if you get lots of reves then the clutch is about to go. Is this right!

no, it's already gone by that stage, but you have the general gist of it

hydraulic clutch so not adjustable, if it is slipping under load in the higher gears then yes the clutch is seriously worn and will soon quit
I'd suggest do not use it if at all possible until it has been replaced, the more it slips the more it stuffs the flywheel and pressure plate faces, you'll need to replace the pressure plate anyway but you don't want to have to replace the flywheel

I'd recommend machining the flywheel anyway. Problem with Hydraulic clutches is that if there gets too much play in the pedal due to clutch wear the piston/thrust bearing can pop right out and you end up with no drive at all.
