.if you are still driving the car then you are the one who is being dangerous. Don't try to blame the wof guy and get some new tyres a wind up no doubt

So what have YOU done to ensure your car is safe to be on the road! You have now posted on a public forum that A) you are aware that there is a MAJOR safety issue with your car B) that YOU are aware of it Should you continue to drive the car without doing something about it YOU are responsible. for any accidents or infringement notices.

Erm, where does the OP say it's their car and that they are driving it!
It could be.Or it could not be.

rear ones are a pass if your 2mm is correct. If you belive your car not to be up to W.O.F. standard you are breaking the law buy useing it on a road even if it has a current wof.
richynuts,

It could be just a car the op was looking at buying!

Yeah, but who would know with that level of written language skills.

i put 4 new tyres on once i found out so breaking no laws at all, what can be done against the wof guy who let the car leave his workshop with a dodgy wof

Why don't you get the ''WOF Guy'' to do a re check and tell him not to leave anything out! I'm sure he would be more than happy to do that.
nokiacellphone,

got a wof from a real place no some dodgy back street one ( dealer got the wof for the car), told him to sort it out he refused point blank and well here now
kazbanz,
Dec 21, 3:16pm
So now the story has changed. All of a sudden you bought a car with bald tyres with a new WOF from a dealer.
.
nokiacellphone,
Dec 21, 3:18pm
the dealer sent it to the wof place ( a dodgy place in penrose) and it came back as passed and when i checked it was bald tyres on the front
twink19,

phone nzta and make a complaint
kazbanz,
Dec 21, 3:23pm
And OF COURSEthe dealer couldn't possibly have swapped the wheels. You couldn't possibly have done a burnout "or two" Why are you having a go at the WOF place not the dealer you bought the car from!
richynuts,
Dec 21, 3:24pm
I would ask the dealer to reimburse you for the cost of the tyres and get him to sort it out with WOF guy.
nokiacellphone,

called LTSA and downloaded a form and they dont really want to know about it when i questioned them with the facts.
vtecintegra,
Dec 21, 3:24pm
Okay I'm confused now.
nokiacellphone,
Dec 21, 3:25pm
at the end of the day the wof guy said he did not look at the tyres as he was to busy and made a mistake but is not liable for his mistake basically.
panicky,
Dec 21, 3:26pm
Whats to say they didn't chuck a set of different rims on it to get the WOF!
panicky,
Dec 21, 3:26pm
What exactly do you want now!free tyres!
snoopy221,
Dec 21, 3:29pm
Who fitted the 4 new tyres and were THEY shown the warrant sheet! And does THEIR invoice have a speedo reading-as well as the. car sales mates dodgevehicle warrant specialist
nokiacellphone,
Dec 21, 3:31pm
they did not throw a set of tyres on to pass the warrant, the wof guy stuffed up did not check the tyres signed it off and let it on the road in a dangerous manner simple enough. Lucky i checked the car on friday night and did not use it.
carmedic,
