Am desperately trying to find one of these for the passenger side of my bug. It all works but is missing the plastic cover so failed it's wof ;-( I've had the parts people / wreckers looking for me for a couple of weeks and can't find anything - can anyone help!

if it is just the plastic cover that is missing and it is working properly it is not a W.O.F. fail. It should pass a W.O.F. the plastic trim is not a safety item, it is put there to make it look nice.

Well I finally managed to get it sorted but thanks for all the advice - and yeah the guy at VTNZ said it was only incase something went into the mechanism and stopped it working without me realising. Didn't think it would be such a mission!!!
