bill-robinson, Feb 13, 7:50am

Well papa, you can see why matthew111 wouldn't reply, can't you! :D Unless he likes the taste of humble pie!

welshdude, Feb 17, 5:21pm
We should be precise with our language and encourage others to be precise too. We wouldn't be happy if a car was made with bearings a few thou' too small.

rsr72, Feb 28, 9:07pm
.'nazis'.

morrisman1, Feb 28, 9:10pm
Get over it.

midosa, Feb 28, 9:11pm
Nazi's is correct

craigsmith, Feb 28, 9:18pm
Nazis in English. Learn to spell and you won't get people complaining about having to deal with uneducated illiterates.

rsr72, Feb 28, 9:19pm
.only when it's a possesive.

clark20, Feb 28, 9:21pm
Do you know how many CVs I get with spelling mistakes! They go to the bottom pretty quick, as if you cannot get your own CV correct, how well can you do the job! Some people need reminding how to do it. I'm not a great speller but I have the google tool bar spelling to help. (and yes, it's OK with "speller"!)

Big words are not so bad, however the difference between no and know is what I expect my 8 year old to know.

rsr72, Feb 28, 9:28pm
Oh my God !.
.'possessive', dammit.

intrade, Feb 28, 9:28pm
isimply call em morons

landbased, Mar 1, 6:07am
They are probably geese from a past life.I feel your pain.

xacoon, Mar 1, 6:16am
ahhh cattle is plural, it doesn't have a singular.

mrfxit, Mar 1, 6:23am
T T T Totally agree

It's easy enough as it is, to misunderstand whats been written with correct spelling, never mind when some twit's been using bad spelling or txt speak on a text only forum,

AND as for people that don't use any puncuation at all, (not even a full stop or a sentance break) in long conversations .

mrfxit, Mar 1, 6:25am
Not that long ago that YOUR spelling & grammer was pretty bad.
Nice to see it's steadily improving

cordia_4g63t, Mar 1, 6:25am
Simple solution: Learn to spell.

mrfxit, Mar 1, 6:27am
The odd word here & there is fine.
It's when whole sentances are peppered or butchered with bad spelling / grammer & txt speak that it becomes hard to tolerate

ljs, Mar 1, 6:50am
I agree, dont usually bother with them even though they may be interesting.

midosa, Mar 1, 7:17am
'I simply call them Morons.'

mechnificent, Mar 1, 7:18am
I was always taught that we should not start a sentence with an "And", too.

Just stirring Bob!

Who cares about an occasional slip-up, as long as it's understandable.

boxburger, Mar 1, 7:19am
I think we'll find that the people that are good at it feel that it is important and the people that have skill-sets in other areas don't feel it is so important.
