no. i can particularly vouch for toyota genuine parts, from dealer COST to retail there is usually not more than 30%, trade will generally meet somewhere in between.
after market - eg repco etc, there is up to 100%, sometimes more, but typically around 50-60. again trade meets somewhere in the middle

all depends what part you are after. the price difference can be up to 400% even between aftermarket parts .repco is usually the leader of high after-market prices.

water hoses are unbeatble from toyota 25$ plus gst no matter what hose how big or small. other things like wheel bearing about 200$ toyota ripco 180 for aftermarketand supercheap auto 100$ Nissan geniuen are the bigest joke. 210$ for a timing belt as where supercheap sell you abosch belt for 30$thats 700% for a example
