Wasn't me seriously, has I have said time and time again I do not complain behind the scenes, what stays on the boards stays on(hence the arguments on the boards). Geez I get the blame for everything, you said it not me whatever it was,

current projects, just got a sierra cosworth engine and box to go into the capri, its sitting on the garage floor until after the capri club races on queen's birthday week end, i don't want to get started and not have it finished and re certified in time (with a new diff as well). lil.c's valiant charger has the engine (265) and box (3 spd auto) out and interior out. should be off to the panel beaters to get some old piss poor rust repairs (in the floor) re done and a bit of rust on the radiator panel. got some nice 15 x 7 globes to go on it, it has center line 14 x 6 & 14 x 8's now

37 Nash sedan - up to panel work now. Has 350LT1 & Vortex, 700R4 & jag IFS and Jag IRS. And leather of course. My luxury cruiser
55 Plymouth 2 door wagoon - my basketcase project stashed away in a shed
200 inch FED - have blown BBC and glide for it. Still sorting floater rear end, and looking for a front end and wire wheels. Hope to see the dragstrip in 2013
26 T Coupe - now has cert, wof rego and fender exemption so 100% legal. So now I want to change it again. Maybe put fenders back on it again
23T bucket - all street legal with blown 540 BBC but strangely, going too slow. Needs more work to go faster. Should run easy 9s and it doesnt
A40 Pickup Gasser project - have given up on this one so its sitting happily in the shed till somebody comes along and either buys it or takes it in exchange for the FED stuff that I need.
Fiat Topolino project - Tupperware body taken off stocker. Has one piece bonnet, enclosed roof, and opening doors.I have given up on this one too so its sitting happily in the shed till somebody comes along and either buys it or takes it in exchange for the FED stuff that I need.
I gave up buying stuff when I turned 50, so now I need to live another 30 years to finish the projects.

Buyer collecting the A40 truck today. He came & looked at it a few nights ago, paid a deposit & went home happy. Was tidier than he expected for the price.
Its getting a SBC and will be a street legal gasser, so another nostalgia racer for the dragstrip. Great stuff

A piece of advise. RUST never shows up till two weeks after painting LOL. The car can be sitting for 10 years with no signs of rust then bugger me with a stick it pops through after that expensive paint.

Our Merc is an old girl, but she's pretty sharp.

Oh cmon HRP, dont make him go away, it makes for some interesting reading here, sorta like watching a grave digger have grave collapse in on him then watching him dig himself back out while screaming about something ;) haha I hope you dont get offended john, but you just are oddly entertaining

I liked original colour but liked orange more. Huge amount of rust cut out and plated

Nice job, always liked those old Valiants. New colour is much nicer (IMHO ;-)

No projects for me at the moment, sold the HQ a while back (miss the fun factor from that one sometimes). I just didn't get to use it enough. The other problem for me was the amount of scumbags around the place who nick these sorts of cars and part them out. Having insurance partly covers this financially, but to most people with a classic (or hobby / customised car) the money is only a small part of it (and usually more has been spent on the car than it can be insured for anyway).I decided I spent too much time worrying about it rather than enjoying it. (sad but true).
