Got a few prices, most were $275-300 but one was $400, due to using genuine parts. Apparently the aftermarket ones will leak again. Asked another mechanic and he said he used to work for the Subi dealership and they rarely used genuine parts. Not really sure what to believe now.

Trust me the genuine ones are much better, you get what you pay for.A Subaru dealership rarely using GP's!Pull the other one, they are there to make profits for themselves, promote and support the brand properly and assure a good turnover for their own parts department, not Repco's!They'd only be ordering in aftermarket unless the prices for some things genuine were ridiculously expensive or else for other makes they were working on.

Yup always use genuine rocker cover gaskets on subaru. I also add a washer to the bottom row on bolts to put a little more crush on the gasket.
