84 Sigma Wagon, both rear seat belts. Need help to retract in. The angles of the belt guides seem to slow the belt down. If I pull belt not using guides they retract in easy. It must have been like this from new! How do I talk this through with the VTNZ tester! Am I allowed to put non retractables in like they use to do with Jap import cars in the 80's! Help!

On a car that old it may be a case of the upper guide getting gunged up over time, try cleaning the area where the belt passes through it.That or else the springs inside the reels are just getting too weak.

Yup, no parts should be needed, just a clean is all it needs most likely.

Velcro is another good one for removing dirt, I have used this by sliding it in.
