VT commy, drivers door has had lock replaced in the past. when i use the keyless entry the door doesnt unlock all the way sometimes, the lock goes about 3/4 of the way up and stops. all the other doors work fine. ive opened the door and checked for bent rods but its all fine. anything else i could check! could the central locking unit not be actuating properly!

ive CRCd all moving parts. its exactly the same with or without the trim.

Measure the operating stroke of the unit in one of your good doors and compare with the driver's door.

just checked it out, and it appears to be the same as passengers door.

motor may be worn out. it works but doesnt have the correct torque

dont this also. it doesnt do it all the time, so im beginning to think it may be the locking unit is on its way out
