Imagine the economy putting that engine from the Passat into an old Mk1 Golf. would probably better 4L/100k

zephyrheaven, Feb 10, 4:14am

Listen hard to the last 4 words of that great song

johnf_456, Feb 10, 4:15am
Nope, but I did ban myself on a self imposed holiday to take a break for a while. So a clean record. The funny thing is neither of the names above are me in any form. So yeah fantasizing a bit there, drinking tonight!

zephyrheaven, Feb 10, 4:16am
Here you go then - your profile tells a lot about you in this song

I like Fanta

johnf_456, Feb 10, 4:18am
Fanta seems to having a rather interesting affect

zephyrheaven, Feb 10, 4:18am
Yes MOTHER

thejazzpianoma, Feb 10, 4:19am
Imagine the performance!

zephyrheaven, Feb 10, 4:19am
Its effect dipshit

johnf_456, Feb 10, 4:20am
Oh dear

zephyrheaven, Feb 10, 4:20am
Shame this will all be deleted soon, some real pearls of wisdom on here - mainly for people whom have never & I mean never ever bever :once in one single post been of any help to any kind of motoring message board

Meh

clark20, Feb 10, 4:22am
Can't wait to see what you have to say when Honda brings out 3-4L/100km car (no hybrid) later this year.

johnf_456, Feb 10, 4:22am
Sounds like a project for you

zephyrheaven, Feb 10, 4:22am
Oh havent you told mummy & daddy about my cussing yet - holy moly - and I havent been affected as much as I have been effected - I can choose, unlike you who has to be banned - I can choose a banning - you have to be banned so you dont look like the mega nanny you are - you are the internet John - the boredom that creeps in like a thick fog on any given thread!

vtecnet, Feb 10, 4:23am
Hmmm a guy italked to had a Mk2 golf with a TDI engine from a much newer VW installed, 20psi or so of boost, it did well on the track for what it was. diesel power!

Some kindergarten language you can understand JOHN

johnf_456, Feb 10, 4:26am
. a bit too personal there. I wasn't banned I just got sick of this place last year with the crap dished towards myself so decided to ban myself to take a holiday. Then a simple unban when things died down.

I try my best to help people here but.
But lets try keep it on topic

zephyrheaven, Feb 10, 4:28am
Never ever ever seen a single post to back that up

You are the sole reason 90% of the better posters are no longer here - with my 2% input deleted as of tonite I hope that sits well with you as the 'winner of the internets'

LMFAO

johnf_456, Feb 10, 4:30am
You are entitled to your opinion but that is incorrect. There is plenty of posts you just need to look, but lets keep it to motoring vs a slinging match.

thejazzpianoma, Feb 10, 4:31am
Actually, Honda have always kind of been the exception to the rule. They have always been good with economy, I like their lean burn fuel injection and early use of variable valve timing.

Good for them on the economical new car I say, it will be interesting to see how they go about it.

jezz43, Feb 10, 4:32am
good god ladies, go on facebook or some sh1t and have your slinging match there. no one really cares. if its not scotty and his fantastic holdens its someone b1tching about someone else.

this is motoring, only thing thats been remotely close to motoring in the last few posts is your mouths. let it go ffs

zephyrheaven, Feb 10, 4:33am
& who the JOHN_456 are you anyway!@!

thejazzpianoma, Feb 10, 4:33am
Diesel is where its at alright, pity our tax system dosn't encourage them more here.

That would be the big plus with the Passat engine in the MK1 Golf, even though thats a petrol engine it delivers 200Nm of torque from 1500 rpm which is a lot more than even the GTI had back in the day. In terms of KW its more than the old GTI but not that much more.

johnf_456, Feb 10, 4:34am
I agree, which I am now after some interesting accusations.
