wonder if he recognised the trucky and thought he would give him a buzz. great idea having camera's on board. Wonder if they passed that over to the cops.

The ute that overtook the Tudor wasn't much better at his driving ability. that was asking for a head on collision
pollymay,
Feb 28, 5:41pm
Did he flip the truck driver off! Wow, moron god tier level achieved
skin1235,

and we all know how annoying it is to be behind a truck all the way to a passing lane . and then the truck pulls out to overtake another truck,. and takes the entire passing lane to do it, meanwhile there's 8 cars queueing up to get past him, so the first one through slowed him up some more, so the rest could get through and the hollywood truck wankers says after many hairy chested expletives re the parentage and appendages of the tudor driver ' I f***don't know why he f*****did that"
ohhh, maybe cos you're fully laden 45 tonne and just took 1,5 km to pass another truck doing almost the same speed as youand held up one hell of a queuein the process - lucky you're not a truckie in the states, some mother would have reached out the window and blown your front tyre to hell with a 354
skin1235,
Feb 28, 5:51pm
was that on the napier wairoa rd!, something familiar on one of those hills
pollymay,
Feb 28, 5:54pm
Yes but the truck weighs 45 TONNES, it is potentially carrying 100's of thousands worth of equipment. It's bigger than you and ultimately it was the most entirely stupid thing to do. It's annoying when trucks do that but truckies get annoyed being behind slower trucks to. I basically condone "speeding" but blatant acts that require a darwin award at the expense of someone else I'm not so keen on.
andrea_w,

So a truck doesn't have a right to overtake a truck going much slower! You know, much like how cars overtake slow trucks! Yes, it's frustrating BUT as a road user, I can understand why they do it. He pulled in at the "lane closing" warning sign, that still allowed time for some other traffic to pass
skin1235,
Feb 28, 6:00pm
comm'on polly, you're saying we should all bow to the bully cos he's bigger and might be worth more there fore could even be considered important that 45 tonne rig could just as easily stayed behind until all the cars were through, then gone for broke, if the largest loudest bully rules then the guy in the inside lane would have pulled back to let the 'big boy' win his piece of the road
blatant acts nothing, the tudor was never in danger of even getting a tap, the hairy chested ape steering the BIG TRUCK!, got the sh**ts cos someone actually pulled a few of those hairs and all he could do was impotently spit into the wind
skin1235,
Feb 28, 6:04pm
go back and look at the start of the passing lane, that rig was already moving over the yellow line to get the full run, no chance of the queue behind him getting through first was there, and the tudor got through after the closing signs, plus a few more sqeezed through, how many were left behind the dick til the next passing lane
bet he had one hell of a day, frustration all ova the place

Another example of poor kiwi drivers. No wonder people get killed on our roads.
skin1235,

Id even suggest that the tudor owner deserves a clap in applause and a thank you - for reminding the dick he really is just a steerer and his driving skills are sadly lacking

skin1235 your an idiot . you say"that 45 tonne rig could just as easily stayed behind until all the cars were through, then gone for broke, "what does gone for broke mean exactlly! , pull out and pass then try to force his truck into a single lane after the passing lane runs out !. the wanker in thehot rod is the one at fault here not the truck driver. as a matter of intrest have you ever driven a truck ! AND as it happens most drivers in the USA will give trucks the right of way where possible and even moveover to leta truck get a run up to a big hill . i drove trucks there and most drivers are extremly patient towards big trucks . its a shame some drivers here dont show the same respect .

LOL. holy crapola, THAT was blimin close alright. YES . I could just make out the "conversation" Yep heard a few storys like that from a brother that was an owner driver in Jafaland

Truck should have just rammed him up the arse. He had it all on video anyway. Would have gone viral by now.
skin1235,

another one in awe of a big bad truck
I've probably driven more miles than you'll ever manage young un, and yes probably in smaller rigs seeing as now they're allowed in excess of 40 tonne which was the limit when I was steering but the ego doesn't have to match the gross weight and assuming you'll get the courtesy from another driver so pushing on in his face is not really a good way to drive you'll note the w**ker was most indignant that some prick came from nowhere and then pulled in in front of him, we can all see it is a long straight passing lane, was he such a skilled driver that in the time it took to haul 45 tonne out pass and back he never managed to glance in his mirror to check other than his beaming smile if there may have been cars behind him
mrfxit,
Feb 28, 6:35pm
Skin . Regardless of everything else that happened in that video, the Tudor driver has to be 1 of the biggest ^%%$$% @%&&^ dimwits around. Not only did he nearly cause an accident, but he also made the traffic behind the truck slow down further then it already was AND put those same drivers behind in danger because of having to unexpectedly brake as the truck suddenly lost speed.
Whatever the reason was for the Tudor to pass at that late stage, theres NO EXCUSE for braking in front of the truck
That truck driver was guilty of holding up traffic. The Tudor driver was guilty of putting everybody else in danger
Who had the easiest drive up that hill, the Tudor or the 44Tontruck
skin1235,
Feb 28, 6:37pm
nah com'on dave, he'd have been doing less than 70,even with 600 horses he'd have still been under 70 ) if he was as he claimed laoded to the max (45 tonne) and the tudor would have spat a puff of tyre and walked away from him just another truck driver with a magnifying glass on his own balls, wanted to pull the I've got the lead when he should have been saying go for it guys I won't hold you up
as for whynot7, I've fired steerers for behaving like that fool did, yep not only driven them, owned them too
skin1235,
Feb 28, 6:39pm
lol and I bet the tudor driver was grinnin the whole time I know it was not the right thing to do, but I don't see the tudor driver as being the only fool in that clip
mrfxit,
Feb 28, 6:42pm
Nah Stephen, not even close on this 1, Bet ya $50 any day, on the same hill with the same truck going down hill, that the Tudor wouldn't have done that trick & if he's THAT brainless, he wouldn't have stood a chance in hell of escaping from out under the trucks front bumper
skin1235,
Feb 28, 6:47pm
going downhill!, he'd be toast, but going uphill! what that clip was all about was both sides of a road rage situation, the tudor furious that they were held up by some egotesticalled hairy chest so slowed him up as soon as he could get past, and the hairy chest furious that someone actually tweaked his nipple
mrfxit,
Feb 28, 6:48pm
What did the truck do . held up traffic = made them go slow What did the Tudor do . blasted past with MINIMAL room, THEN jammed on his brakes causing the truck to slow rapidly INCLUDING all the other traffic still behind the truck
ONE judgment slip from the Tudor & he would have been minced along with everybody else behind him. Truck crash's are NOT a pretty sight
