That is heading south up the hill at Moirs Hill. There is bridge the road narrows for at the end of that passing lane, then after the bridge there is another passing lane. Yeah, it sucks when trucks pass trucks but the guy in the Tudor was an asshole. Would have been funny if the truckie had not braked and rammed him, he then probably would have claimed it to be the truckies fault. It would only be wise to show his insurer the video after he falsified a police report and lied on a claim form.
When the truck in question was passing the other truck, he wasn't exactly mucking about doing it. It's not like he was crawling pass
As for the Tudor . Look at that video at the1.34 mark to 1.36 & 1.38 Scary shite going on there.
How many cars could have been tangled up in that little mess

No. Just south of Warkworth.

wheres Moirs Hill! I wonder about the ability to drive and at what limits, he pulled out on a truck pulling 4 power poles - all up20 tonne max, and then passed him, yet claims he was loaded to 45 tonne impossible, the pole hauler would have laughed and walked out from under him that camera is sitting inside a cabover or an ant eater, the tudor would have had at least 15 ft behind him at all times
as someone else has said they see this all the time, there are some crazies out there - and not all of them drive tudors

Yellow continuous lines apparently mean nothing & WTF right hand rule changes 25 th Marchthink I'll stay homefor a week

so north of jaffaland, where the trucks are big, ego's are bigger, and theres no patience left in the world
no carnage resulted apart from a pair of heavily soiled unddies, if that vid was to be used in an insurance claim the truck would lose

Like hell it would, it shows plain and simple the tudor driver would of been the cause of any accident.
skin1235,

we obviously see a different clip kingfisher, I see a truck hard up the arse of another and then pulls out to pass before even getting to the passing lane, leaving no time for faster traffic behind him to get through, then hauling up that hill like he was empty ( yet the crux of the clip is re his huge 45 tonne loaded and the implied braking ability), then the tudor basically does flip him off bad form on both their behalves if the truck driver can't handle the jandal he shouldn't be pushing the pedal

dunno, better check huh not often I get so offside with so many on motoring eh, maybe the kids have slipped a bit of something into my pack
sorry guys, I know the frustration of idiot drivers, cars and trucks ( 4 passing lanes between waverley and wanganui, and every one of them taken up both sides by fontera tankers does that to ya, all running 90k limiters, all hauling either empty out or full back, all going to the same place at the same time) and p***in more than a few other drivers off bigtime infuriatin to say the least, how far between stepping in and braking or just carry on when they will finally let you through - wonder just how far between

What a dick, tossers like that are asking to be killed. Egg move by the Rodder. Unless you travel that road regularly you have no idea how many dicks are on the road between Puhoi and Warkworth.

thats surley on milimetres away from something horrible.
jsbike,
Feb 28, 7:26pm
as much as I thought the truck driver should have just hit the rod, after seeing the 2nd video im glad the truck driver in the 1st video was smarter than the rod driver.

holy shit that was so close damn near a head on between the white ute and the grey one.all caused by the arrogant tudor driver. regardless of whether the truck driver held people up theres no need for that bollocks.
AND SKIN YOUR A RETARD. i hope you do something equally as stupid and a large truck squashes you.
skin1235,
Feb 28, 7:34pm
checked that clip again the pole hauler had 8 poles on, so all up about 28 tonne the passing truck came down 3 or 4 gears, so wasn't actually gaining speed, in fact was loosing speed, and yep the tudor driver flipped him as he left the scene weather it was the right thing to do or not! the truckies last coherent words are "f****ed if I know why!" wonder if the tudor driver could tell us how long him and the rest of the queue had been stuck behind the hollywood and how many didn't get through, maybe that would be a big part of the why! guess he'd have a different opinion re who the discourtesy label should be pinned on

Im gonna go on the truck drivers side here; regardless of whether or not he was using up the whole passing lane etc, that dork in the hot rod didn't need to slam the brakes on like that. If he had got splattered, well, what bloody good is a phyrric victory!
gunhand,
Feb 28, 7:35pm
I dont think he did brake did he! I looked couple of times and didnt see them go on. Mind you there stupidly small so they may have. I reckon the tudor driver just pulled in and for whatever reason failed to continue to accellerate, foot probably slipped off pedal (it does happen) giving the appearence of braking then realised the truck was almost on him and shat himself. He took off pretty bloody quick tho and failed to awhereof his surroundings almost causing more havoc. All n all bad driving by a few.

XXXfor you too settle down petal, its a clip about morons fighting testosterome, and you don't do that, do you
un_known,
Feb 28, 7:48pm
no its a clip about a tosser who damn near caused a pile up which could have killed multiple people, and your defending his actions.Honestly if you get that frustrated by being held up by trucks then its you who needs to settle down. After all its better to get to your destination a little late than turning up in a box
skin1235,

all of that too
and most of it un-necessary too a little less arrogance, a little more patience, a little more courtesy and it would have made all of their days driving efforts much more enjoyable it was close, but no closer than we see every day, in fact we often see it when it does get a bit closer, great piles of carnage and one or two running about claiming innocence - neither drivers in question were inncoent if the tudor had keep his boot in and kept on truckin there would have been no issue, if the navara wasn't hard up the butt of the 5th or 6th one through he wouldn't have been alongside the tudor, and what of the 4 or 5 that roared through after the tudor crazies, frustrated, angry, blinded, whatever I don't condone it, but also don't see that the truck was as pure as driven snow either, all the whatif's and maybe's don't change the fact there were two principal drivers involved to begin with, and either one of them could have averted the whole shebang by switching off the mucho and switching on the common sense turning up in a box! none did, many do, from incidents a lot less dramatic than that too

fact of the matter is the truck driver did nothing illegal or dangerous, the tudor driver did.
